Nice to get back to “familiar ground” – having spent so much time in the Atlanta area during my tenure with Elton, I am at least vaguely familiar with this town.
I drove from Nashville, and will continue to Charleston after this. SO I thought I’d bring the Versace kit!
The band lineup was the “Dream Team” tonight. John Howard (bass), Steve Hornbeak (kbd), and Kevin Marks (gtr).
Opening for us was The Little River Band (old friends from way back). The only small fly in the ointment was the strict noise ordinance: They actually turned of our power midway through the last song! RM was NOT pleased, and stormed off!
