I’ve played this place before – with these guys. In fact December 2014 was the last time they were here, and I was playing in the band.
Well, we had our usual meet-up and dinner (steak house up the road at a neighbouring casino. Courtesy of the booker), followed by a few “bevvies” in our casino bar. Needless to say, we had a few!!
Next morning, bright & early, we convened at the Starbucks in the casino next door, and ran 5km up the main drag. This involved crossing the border into Nevada and back into Utah. In fact we’re staying in Utah, and playing in Nevada!
After sound check we had a bite to eat at the restaurant downstairs, pre-show, then they shuttled us across the “border” for the show!
