For the 3rd year running, I was part of John Jorgenson’s effort at Guitar Town in Copper Mountain, Colorado. This is a whole weekend of guitar noodling! Saturday is the acoustic day. JJ played with both his Bluegrass band and the Gypsy Jazz quintet. I caught the end of the Gypsy Jazz set.
That evening, we rehearsed for the electric set on Sunday.
We were the 2nd act on stage the next day, and by all accounts, we gave the rest of the bands quite a benchmark to follow! The band comprised Mark Fain on bass, Rory Hoffman on keys and guitar, JJ on guitars & vocals – with special guest artists, Cindy Cashdollar and Red Volkaert. We rocked!
