We head to Arcadia, IN, today. About 5 hours of driving, by all accounts. Straight after the show, I head on towards Buffalo for tomorrow’s RPM show. JJ has booked me a hotel room about 130 miles along the route

Sheesh, that was a crazy day! It started this morning, when I left my home in Nashville at 5am (car packed with drums), and drove to Indianapolis airport. I was met there by the promoter for our JJ show on Friday (who lives about 50 miles away). After dropping me at the terminal, he returned to his home in my car, while I flew to Minneapolis to meet up with JJ and the rest of the band (the reason for all this will become clear in a day or two). Once we’d managed to shoe-horn all our stuff into the back of a Dodge Grand Caravan, we headed into town for our first appointment – sound check at the Dakota Jazz Club. Read the rest of this entry »
