I’m back from Saturday’s private gig in Woodstock, after two very short nights, early starts and long days. I was so dazed yesterday that any attempt to get something useful done fell by the wayside. In the end I simply made sure I got an early night, and hit the ground running this morning (which is what I’m doing now!).

I still have to learn the Little River Band tunes for Friday’s YHTP benefit bash here in Nashville. I’m looking forward to that show: Lots of friends and colleagues, and Wayne Nelson from LRB, who is a really nice guy.

Jimi (Jamison) is on this show, and you all know what a wonderful chap he is… as well as Joe Bouchard (who is such a ‘team player’ and enthiusiastic person), and John Cafferty, who guarantees to light up the place with his performance (quite apart from being a super-nice chap, too). All that talent, coupled with an amazing band of incredible singers and musicians swelling the ranks of Orleans should make for a very musical night.
