UUGGH!

UUGGH! I finally woke up at about Midday, and went in search of something resembling breakfast. The crew are all in the hotel as well. I bumped into Tony Smith (Guy’s keyboard tech.) in the lobby, so we wandered across the road to the local mall, and found our way to the food court. On the way we bumped into Bob Birch, Guy Babylon and Clive (Franks), also seeking refreshment. One Subway BLT and a large mocha (decaf for me, unfortunately) later, I felt vaguely human.

The weather has turned… overnight the temperature must’ve dropped 20 degrees. When I got on the bus, I was overdressed, by the time I got OFF, I was most definitely UNDER-dressed! So it’s time to get a warm jacket.I have come woefully unprepared for the cold weather that is due. Luckily we have the mall opposite the hotel. After a bit of ‘retail therapy’ (name given to the impulse of shopping when you’re feeling disoriented whilst away from home), I went for a swim and a workout in the gym.

In the evening, Davey, Billy, JJ and I went to the movies:’The Full Monty’.What a great film. It makes a change to see a film that doesn’t rely on a huge budget and special effects to get the message across. Nice to see my friend Hugh Burns appearing as guitar credit for the soundtrack.
