I let myself sleep as long as possible. After the gig last night, it took me a while to come down enough to go to bed (Adrenaline is an interesting thing). So it was about 2am before I really got off. Once I woke up sufficiently, I made it down to the pool and did 60 lengths. Before the swim I was really stiff and sore. Afterwards, I felt human once more. Breakfast, well lunch (scrambled eggs, toast and jam!) followed.As we’ve been here for nearly two weeks, things seems to have found their way out of my suitcase, and across the entire room. So I had a halfhearted attempt at packing a few things, when Davey called to say they were going to a movie. Decided to join them. We saw ‘LA Confidential’: wow! Certainly the best movie I’ve seen since “The Usual Suspects” (my previous best movie ever).In the evening, we paid one last visit to “Bone’s” steakhouse. What an amazing steak. I needed some red meat after last night, I can tell you!
